Why Hit the Catholics Now? Part II

Perhaps it's best summed up by a story most of us have heard:

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."
"We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power." - George Orwell

I wrote my thoughts on this twice, but on two different subjects.

First, having to do with the socialist medicine,

http://pluckingtheyew.blogspot.com/2010/03/what-they-want-and-what-they-dont-want.html

Second, having to do with gun laws,

Evil walks among us. it does not think like we do. It doesn't have the same values we do. It can imitate us some of the time, the rest is psychological projection.
