It is inevitable something must give. At this stage death is nearer than side effects, there's no more pills. Russias downward loop is a classic example of what have to happen before cure. The word sistems don't have the money to support the decay. 6 billion people 75% of the wealth in 20% of the poulations hands, its not enough to feed everyone. In any way wealth don't feed people food dos. That's what the Russians did on their 1/7 acre plots feed themselfs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-14126530366489846922012-08-26T03:26:28.663-04:002012-08-26T03:26:28.663-04:00> If everyone spent their time farming their ba...> If everyone spent their time farming their backyard rather than productively working somewhere, then our standard of living all declines.

This is exactly what has happened in the Soviet Union, both before and after its collapse. People spent an inordinate amount of time and effort working their 1/7 acre plots for food. Thanks to these plots they never starved, but the standard of living went through the floor.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-76770887017336716062012-08-25T19:43:24.108-04:002012-08-25T19:43:24.108-04:00This is one of those questions that's a mile d...This is one of those questions that's a mile deep, and deserves a longer answer, so thanks for the idea. If everyone spent their time farming their backyard rather than productively working somewhere, then our standard of living all declines. In other words, what's in the interest of the individual to protect their future is not in the interest of the corporate whole.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-38688324668469054052012-08-23T10:07:42.026-04:002012-08-23T10:07:42.026-04:00As they say, "civilization will end with a wh...As they say, "civilization will end with a whimper, not a bang."

Just more frog boiling.
