We just got a Keurig in the office.

We have bottled water, but a "kitchen" handicapped by no water or space.

Making good coffee here is too much trouble to compete with a great coffee just down the street, so our office coffee routinely sucked.

Now, it's available easily, and the company pays for it.

Fortunately, I'm blessed with a wide tolerance for coffee quality. I love good coffee, but if I realize that's not what I'm getting, I can adjust my expectations.

That said, I'd drink your coffee for sure!Weetabixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06106614092497408546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-91601265985804270332015-02-25T19:38:12.783-05:002015-02-25T19:38:12.783-05:00French press, its almost as fast as the Keurig, an...French press, its almost as fast as the Keurig, and it gives me exactly the coffee I want for a shit ton less. I dont think I will ever go away from it.Bradleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05872057923886020316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-12965739054869785582015-02-25T14:21:40.068-05:002015-02-25T14:21:40.068-05:00crap coffee for noobs, I would drink tea before I ...crap coffee for noobs, I would drink tea before I would drink a K-cupMichaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05896164704470247622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-25384561455020442102015-02-25T13:01:37.076-05:002015-02-25T13:01:37.076-05:00I boil my water, grind my coffee beans, and use a ...I boil my water, grind my coffee beans, and use a coffee press. Wonderful coffee and several people at the office think that this is serious coffee making.

Many here have the Keurig. If I lose this key I must pay $60-$80 to get a new one and it can take a week or two before I can get it.
I bought a piece of software online a few years back that would allow me to record audio of anything on my computer. Do you think when I bought a new laptop that this would transfer to my new machine? Of course not. I have purchased other software that is full of pitfalls that were paced their to prevent piracy but interfere with my day to day use of it. My very nice brand new gas range will not work if the electric is off! It's a gas stove but it has a friggin computer in it.
I was thinking the other day when I was doing the laundry; we have a expensive front load washer with lots of settings but have never used any of them but the basic setting. I'm sure there is someone somewhere who still washes delicates or alpaca or something and needs these but I'm 71 and I've never used any of these settings. But I bet you money when the damn thing goes belly up the repair guy will tell me it will cost $500 to fix because the computer chip is bad. Ditto for the dryer. It's a dryer! One setting needed: "DRY"! Ditto for my stupid dishwasher. I have no idea what those setting mean and the various places to put products that open up in various stages of obscure settings. I just dump a little dishwasher detergent on the door and shut it and turn it on. Then I hope I hear it finish so I can open it before the stupid electric heater comes on. Only one setting needed: "wash"! How much cheaper would a appliance be if it had one off on switch and no computer chip or lights and instruction sheets?
P.S. Have you also noticed after going #2 in one of these no low flush toilets it takes a couple or four flushes to get the job done? Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
