January 6th - Political Prisoners' Day

It's one of those things that makes my blood boil.  People in prison, some beaten regularly, all for far more time in prison than serious criminals get in any of the big, blue cities - where slashing someone or shoving them on the tracks in front of a subway might get you an overnight stay.  Some of these people have been in solitary for a year and some prison terms started right after the protest.

  1. They commerated her by arresting her mom for jaywalking yesterday. I sit here powerless and weeping for Ashli and our country.
