Nopey-nope. Nooooooope.

Right now I'd trust a Boeing product over a Bezos product.

And why pay $2.5mil for a 100km flight maybe this year when you can pay, what, $200K for a Starship flight maybe as early as next year? Or a tad more than a Bezos flight for a full orbital or even lunar launch on a Dragon?

Nah. Wouldn't trust a Virgin flight either, by the way. Rutan has had some interesting designs but... well... yeah...

Hmmm, Big Government has pulled out of Bezo's pipe dream. Wonder if ULA is having second or third thoughts yet. Wonder who's sitting on that information if they are rethinking that decision.

I'm not against non-SpaceX private space stuff. Really I'm not. I'm looking forward to Sierra Nevada getting off their duff and actually, you know, launching something that they've talked about for years... And there's the Kiwis who are more successful than Bezos... And such.

Just... I don't trust BO. Not a bit. Trust them as much as flying on an early model Airbus before they had all the crashes and figured out that A. their computers and software sucked and B. their composites sucked and needed much more work.

Beanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15293778848879361153noreply@blogger.com
