The manager of that office had a plaque on his desk that read, "Earth First - we'll log the other planets later."

Mark, as is often the case you are absolutely right. We do vote only for those we are allowed to vote for. Examples: Ron Paul's votes were counted by a Republican Party that refused to let him win the primary. Some towns supposedly had cast no votes for him, when a large number of the voters in that town swore they cast their ballots for Paul.

Hillary. who had complete control of the DNC's money, shut down Bernie Sanders' primary run, deliberately.

People who have been paying attention know that these types of shenanigans have been going on since the start of our nation. There may have been a few outliers, but I don't believe Trump is one of them. I think it was understood that a psychotic Hillary could not be controlled, and that allowing Trump to win was a safer way to get through the next four or eight years.

In the meantime, using the progressive federal judges Obama appointed (over 300 of them), much of what Trump tries to do can be countered in federal court. The Deep State can exert a fair amount of control as well. This saves the oligarchs from having to deal with the civil war which _might_ have occurred if Hillary had been elected and was able to make life for us "deplorables" a living hell.Reg Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14099612693763932005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-76509949755952435322018-04-24T16:27:44.103-04:002018-04-24T16:27:44.103-04:00Not in Florida they cannot.
All societies in ever...Not in Florida they cannot.

All societies in every place and time are direct democracies, including those led by Mao, Stalin, Hitler, etc. If the largest faction of a population is 20% or larger, they will get whoever they want as political leader. Doesn't matter what the rules written on paper say.

And you know damn well that blimp and roadside signs were nothing in the electoral picture.

You seem to be claiming that humans are like ants, where separate animals do not have an independent thinking capability to make and act on big picture decisions. This is biologically false. Yes, voters usually choose the candidates who are advertised to them by the mainstream media. This produces a result where the existing power structure usually chooses its successors, and implements continuity of policy. Thank goodness we don't have Hillary for president, or we'd still have Obamacare and be at war with Syria. However, the pick of presidential candidate was a choice made independently by 200 million independent brains.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-11586786071160632592018-04-24T08:06:00.586-04:002018-04-24T08:06:00.586-04:00Not in Florida they cannot. No, ...Voters elect what they are ALLOWED to elect.

No, voters can write in any candidate they choose. In America there is no soldier standing over the ballot box making sure they vote for the incumbent. Voters also have the guns to demand their votes be counted accurately. Voting is a completely free, 100% unforced choice. As such, voters share complete responsibility with the candidate for the reasonably foreseeable behavior of their candidate. The voters are just as guilty as the LEO they hire.

Ross Perot bought TV commercials; Ron Paul had a blimp and roadside signs. They didn't need some large donor's money to get discovered by voters. If voters wanted to write these candidates in for president, nothing could have stopped them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-3511020280220166162018-04-23T08:21:27.945-04:002018-04-23T08:21:27.945-04:00Voters elect what they are ALLOWED to elect. If a candidate is not able to self fund his campaign, he had better suck the Davos and Bilderberg crowd or he will lose.

President Trump only won the election because he was able and willing to fund his own campaign. When Reagan won the nomination in 1980, he was forced to put that filthy piece of Rockefeller Republican sewage on the ticket as his vice in order to get enough funding to win. And Shrub I then did everything he could to sabotage Reagan's presidency, especially once elected himself at the end of Reagan's term. The Koch-sucking Rove Republican swill are nothing more than the other end of the same steaming turd as the Democrats. They ALL are beholden to the Davos and Bilderberg crowd and their One World Government utopia. The only difference is that the two groups have different sets of cronies they want to let slop at the government trough while en route.Mark Matisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592992209402300549.post-7989496523577384582018-04-23T08:02:51.870-04:002018-04-23T08:02:51.870-04:00It always cracks me up, how these jackasses never ...It always cracks me up, how these jackasses never volunteer to start the ball rolling (the lawyer in New York, notwithstanding, and being the only serious one in 40 years).

I turned on every light in my house, burned a tire in my fire pit, used old motor oil mixed with diesel fuel to kill weeds along my fence, and grilled dinner over charcoal.
