No, we didn't watch the State of the Union Address last night. We
didn't watch it for the same reason we didn't shove meth-crazed
porcupines up our poop chute: because it would be an unbelievably stupid and painful thing to do.
And that says it all better than I was saying it. It was on in the other room while I was working last night but I had to turn off the TV. I can't stand the voice, let alone the content of what he was saying. Fact-check articles are out and about if you care, written not just by people who are bound by actual verifiable reality, but by anyone who thinks their opinion makes sense. The prez himself makes as much sense as this Octopi Wall Street dood, who has the same message as Obama but is only a little more direct.
I'm with you on the voice. Whenever it comes on the radio, I have to turn it off. I KNOW it will be lying, and it's given me a RCOB for years.
ReplyDeleteI have a cousin or 2nd cousin or whatever the right term is, who I hung with somewhat when I was 8-12 yrs old. He was a year or so older and always in trouble. Finally my mother made me stop seeing or talking to him. But he had this irritating way of talking and he always lied. You could ask him if it was raining and he would swear it was sunny even though it was raining. He was psychotic but I didn't know it at that age to me he was an irritating liar who would throw his friends and family under the bus without hesitation. He was arrogant and confrontational and slick talking and was a boy (later when he was a man) without any conscience. That is what I hear when I hear Obama speak. I am not sure Obama even cares if he lies it is just who he is. By the way my cousin sent 5-10 in the state pen as an adult. I do hope someday Obama is brought before a judge to answer for his crimes.
