Wish me luck...
In the World of the High Tech Redneck, the Graybeard is the old guy who earned his gray by making all the mistakes, and tries to keep the young 'uns from repeating them. Silicon Graybeard is my term for an old hardware engineer; a circuit designer. The focus of this blog is on doing things, from radio to home machine shops and making all kinds of things, along with comments from a retired radio engineer, that run from tech, science or space news to economics; from firearms to world events.

I used Firefox for years and really liked it but every once in a while it would take a steaming dump right after one of their automatic upgrades. I have lost my entire bookmarks file twice in the past because of it. I still have it but am currently working with the Opera system. It has it's quirks but It also has some pretty cool features that I really like. Ya might want to download it and use both off and on.
ReplyDeleteIt will migrate your bookmarks and everything. Just my $.02.
Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteI use FF. As with many things, when it works, it's great. When it doesn't...
Ubuntu?

I'm in FF right now. Using the version of IE that's on this system, I looked up how to fix it on the Mozilla website, had it running last night, about another half hour after posting this.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be working fine, but I'll know more after I play a while.
