are Written on the Subway Walls,
And Tenement Halls
Paul Simon, "The Sounds of Silence", 1965
Received this in the email this week. I thought I'd seen in the Liberty Sphere, but don't see it looking around. I didn't write it, but it's worth passing on:
The folks who are getting free stuff,
Don't like the folks who are paying for the free stuff.
Because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford
to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.
And, the folks who are paying for the free stuff, Want the free stuff to
stop.
And the folks who are getting the free stuff, Want even MORE free stuff
on top of the free stuff they're getting already.
Now, the people who are forcing people to PAY for the free stuff, Have
told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff,
That the people who
are PAYING for the free stuff, are being mean, prejudiced and racist.
So, the people who are GETTING the free stuff, have been convinced they
need to HATE the people who are PAYING for the free stuff because
they are selfish.
And they are promised more free stuff if they will vote for the people
who force the people who pay for the free stuff to give them even more
free stuff.
And -- when the free stuff stops , the folks receiving the free stuff will
riot, burn, steal and commit mayhem.
For the "rich" owes them! It is happening in England and coming
here soon.
And that's the Straight Stuff!
And the people getting the free stuff will attack the people who are paying for the free stuff instead of the people promising them the free stuff when they stop getting the free stuff.
ReplyDeleteI think the people who are paying for the free stuff should give the people who are getting the free stuff MORE free stuff when they decide to attack the people paying for the free stuff. Free stuff they have never gotten before, free stuff made of copper and lead. The people paying for the free stuff should make sure the people promising the free stuff to the people getting the free stuff are given some too.
Make sure you have enough free stuff so that everybody who needs the free stuff gets some free stuff. Remember: from each according to his ability (at 300-600 yards), to each according to his need (some may need two or three rounds).
I laughed, I cried, I kissed my property (which, of course, is theft) good-bye.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Marxist bromides, is the teleprompter trying to tell us something?
Thanks for that!
