AG Lynch: San Bernardino Terror Attack "Wonderful Opportunity"

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
There'll be Christians for Shooting
And Throats good for Booting
Bringing Muslims Good Cheer!
It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Attorney General Loretta Lynch hit a new low, even in the sordid history of this administration, by saying about the San Bernardino Christmas Party Massacre:
“We’re at the point where these issues have come together really like never before in law enforcement thought and in our nation’s history and it gives us a wonderful opportunity and a wonderful moment to really make significant change.”  [emphasis added: SiG]
Honestly, to look at a horrific terrorist attack on the US homeland; Islamic terrorists attacking and killing a group of people having an office Christmas party, and to call it wonderful in any way is beyond tone deaf to outright evil.  Rahm Emanuel saying, "you never want to let a good crisis go to waste" is tone deaf.  This is way beyond that.

But instead of condemning the terrorist attack, the Attorney General said she was more concerned about "anti-Muslim rhetoric".  Because, you know, something like 1 Muslim is inconvenienced for every 10 or 20,000 people they kill.  Speaking at a Muslim Advocates dinner
...Lynch said since the terrorist attacks in Paris last month, she is increasingly concerned with the “incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric … that fear is my greatest fear.”

The fear that you have just mentioned is in fact my greatest fear as a prosecutor, as someone who is sworn to the protection of all of the American people, which is that the rhetoric will be accompanied by acts of violence. My message to not just the Muslim community but to the entire American community is: we cannot give in to the fear that these backlashes are really based on.

Lynch made it clear that she shares those concerns, but vowed to use the DOJ to protect Muslims from discrimination and violence. Noting the rise in violence against Muslims and mosques in the wake of the Paris attacks, Lynch added that, “When we talk about the First amendment we [must] make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not American. They are not who we are, they are not what we do, and they will be prosecuted.”
Just like the anti-gun groups who figuratively dance in the blood of every shooting , especially if there are photogenic children involved, Lynch and her pals see the murder of 14 party-goers as a wonderful thing.  They can push harder on their agenda, beat the dead horse of "anti-Muslim" crimes that never seem to materialize.  Repeat the useless cries of "universal background checks" or "terror watch list" until a few more idiots go "golly! that might work!".

Suddenly "see something, say something" added a new phrase, morphing into "See something, Say something, Get prosecuted".

  1. Pretty much. Don't think you can get a job in the administration if you're not.

  2. When I heard this my first thought was "no one can be that tone deaf or that stupid - this must be an epic case of trolling."

    Nope. It's the default setting.

I am officially registering my complete and total bewilderment about whatever it is that goes on in the minds of leftists. This is more than the typical anti-gunner's complete lack of understanding about what constitutes reality on this planet, and it's far beyond the "what color is the sky in their world" semi-humorous wonderment.

I know it won't be a simple answer, nor one that, perhaps, can be comprehended by mere mortals, but there must be something that impacts the operation of the brain which causes this and I'd really like to know what it is. Examples abound of individuals, raised in the same community, attending the same schools, working at similar jobs, and one is passably defined as "normal" and the other winds up tinfoil hat, completely batshit, effing delusional about life on our little blue ball. Obama, Lynch and the majority of the media come to mind as examples.

I don't think it's "something in the water" nor simply the stunning level of corruption of what passes for "education" these days. It has to be something genetic - the difference between both sides of the bell curve seems too great to attribute to environmental causes. They look like everyone else, they drive cars, buy houses, have kids, just like everyone else, but their relationship with reality is so warped as to be nonexistent.

    Scary times, these.

  3. Within hours of the announcement of Lynch for AG the media was lauding her and her accomplishments. Within days more facts were coming out and red flags were everywhere. By the time she was appointed everyone should have realized she was more of the same thing as the last AG. Congress can not refuse to accept a person of color or a woman unless the evidence against them is so egregious that everyone would agree. A black female AG could be the devil themself and fighting her appointment in congress will destroy your career. We as a country are stupid we have given in to PC and that has become more important than our survival. Obama had to replace the last AG because his crimes were so bad, but he needed an AG that would cover up those crimes and continue Obama's anti-American agenda. If he had selected just anyone that would be willing to do this congress would have torn them a new rectum. But choosing a black woman was genius. This bowing down to PC is going to get us killed.

  4. Alien, +1 on that excellent post. I've seen it up close, where friends have a few kids, and one out of the bunch ends up "up tinfoil hat, completely batshit, effing delusional", as you say. There are so many, it must have a common cause. They all get the same indoctrination in schools, yet one kid calls the guy begging for change on the corner a "bum" while the other revels in them.

And Anon, 1044, good stuff, but the way I see it, Bamster didn't "replace the last AG because his crimes were so bad", the AG retired because he was too tired. They absolutely found a "Holder in a skirt" to replace him, and that was evident in the first articles about her in any press.

They absolutely are hiding behind their race and the incessant use of the race card. Look at how the neighbors of the Christmas Party Massacre terrorists saw something but were afraid of being called racist.

  5. The earlier musing about 'genetics' caught my eye.

I have had like minded thoughts for quite a spell. IMO, we're dealing with some kind of very common genetic mutation. The mutation causes some malformation in the brain's synapsis, causing "crap for brains".
Sometimes, but very seldom it seems, this can be outgrown.
This mutation isn't just coming light, but has been part of the human equation since we've been human.

In the past, this was self limiting. These dolts were recognized by the 'tribe' and handled appropriately.

Far back, they weren't tolerated and were either killed outright, or banished to die.
More recently (middle ages), as we became more 'civilized' their existence was tolerated as village idiots, but I think they weren't allowed to procreate by one method or the other.

Today, with our modern compassionate, enlightened tolerance, we've let these morons not just reproduce, but attain rank.
