Silicon Graybeard is my term for an old hardware engineer; a circuit designer. The focus of this blog is on doing things, from radio to home machine shops and making all kinds of things, along with comments from a retired radio engineer, that run from tech, science or space news to economics; from firearms to world events.
The Pearl Harbor shooting seems more like some sort of “generic murder,” one that's either due to (A) someone being FN or (B) a personal conflict. Pensacola sounds like terrorism.

Or else have them wear diapers, and get cavity searched and body-scanned every time they enter the base. When it pisses them off enough to bring us the heads of the radicals proactively, like a bottle from a house guest coming to dinner, the penny will have dropped.
How about if we train them over there and not here?
As it is, they're looking for six to 10 other Saudi citizens around the country, with the big, annual celebrations like Times Square three weeks away. It would be better if they were in Riyadh or some air base over there.

I think that we should curtail training opportunities for the Saudis, but we won't. How many billion dollars do they spend on hardware/software?
